Laptop Notebook

A laptop is a mobile computer that folds up for easy transport and storage. Usually no more than 5kg, a laptop notebook allows you to take your work wherever you go. Most laptop computers run on batteries with an optional AC/DC adapter. Laptop components are similar to those on regular computers, except that they are downsized and optimized for power efficiency. The screen on traditional laptops is an LCD or TFT, with the keyboard and other controls built into the body.

Why do you need a laptop?

Laptops are ideal for those who travel frequently or often work away from the office. Each laptop serves a different purpose; some are made for the rugged student's lifestyle, while others are meant for business travelers. Some laptops are even designed to be desktop replacements. Particularly in major cities, much of the working population will carry and use a laptop on a regular day.

Who makes laptops?

There are dozens of companies specializing in laptop manufacturing, some more expensive than others. The biggest names are also in the desktop and computer parts marker. Some manufacturers focus mostly on laptop production.

What makes a good laptop?
